THE ARTIST'S STATEMENT
I work with watercolors
and love the luminosity and spontaneity of watercolors.
I am constantly inspired by nature: by its trees, by its
rocks, by the way the light hits a landscape and
produces shadows. I hope to achieve the same magical
feeling in my watercolors. I love to use deep contrasts
to bring out dramatic qualities of a landscape painting.
But most important is to bring a luminous quality into a
painting as if light is in the painting.
